Users can now capture portraits without needing to switch to Portrait mode. Additionally, the Night mode has been enhanced with sharper details and more vivid colors, thanks to the Photonic Engine and the inclusion of Night mode portraits enabled by the LiDAR scanner.

For video enthusiasts, the iPhone 15 Pro allows for ProRes video recording directly to external storage, enabling higher recording options up to 4K at 60 fps. It also offers a new option for Log encoding and is the first smartphone in the world to support ACES, the Academy Color Encoding System.

Apple has also announced that spatial video capture will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro later this year.
