The new model features a range of exciting Updates and Improvements, including a Sleek Titanium Design, The Powerful A17 Pro Chip, a customizable Action Button, and USB 3 Type-C connectivity.

The A17 Pro Chip is Apple’s first 3nm chip, boasting an impressive 19 Billion Transistors. It features a 6-core CPU with two high-performance cores and four high-efficiency cores. The chip also includes a 6-core GPU that is up to 20% faster, supports Ray tracing, and incorporates a new 16-core Neural Engine.

One notable feature of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the all-new Action Button, which replaces the single-function switch. This button can be customized to launch various functions, such as the Camera or Flashlight, Voice Memos, Focus modes, Translate, and Accessibility Features like Magnifier. The Button offers a press-and-hold gesture with haptic feedback and visual cues for seamless operation.

Additionally, the Night mode has been enhanced with Sharper Details and more Vivid Colors, thanks to the Photonic Engine and the inclusion of Night mode portraits enabled by the LiDAR scanner.

For video enthusiasts, the iPhone 15 Pro Max allows for ProRes video recording directly to external storage, enabling higher recording options up to 4K at 60 fps. It also offers a new option for Log encoding and is the first smartphone in the world to support ACES, the Academy Color Encoding System.

Apple has also announced that Spatial Video capture will be available for the iPhone 15 Pro Max later this year.
