Apple has officially unveiled the Apple TV app for Android smartphones, tablets, and foldable devices, marking a major milestone for fans of Apple’s streaming content. With this new app, Android users can now enjoy a variety of Apple Original shows and movies on Apple TV+, as well as MLS Season Pass, the exclusive home for Major League Soccer.
Designed from the ground up with Android users in mind, the Apple TV app offers a smooth and user-friendly experience. Subscribers can conveniently sign up for Apple TV+ and MLS Season Pass through their Google Play account on Android smartphones, tablets, and Google TV. Apple TV+ also offers a 7-day free trial, so new users can explore the platform before committing.
Since launching in 2019, Apple has steadily expanded the reach of Apple TV+ across multiple platforms, starting with iOS and Mac devices, as well as select Smart TVs and streaming devices. In 2021, Apple brought support to Chromecast with Google TV, NVIDIA Shield, and Android TV models. With the addition of Android mobile devices, this move is expected to increase Apple’s services revenue significantly.
