Google IO 2025
Google has revealed that its highly anticipated annual developer conference, Google I/O 2025, will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California.
The conference will begin at 10 a.m. PT with an opening keynote from CEO Sundar Pichai, followed by a developer keynote and a series of on-demand technical sessions. For the first time, Google will stream live developer product keynotes from the Shoreline Amphitheater across both days of the event. Day one will focus on the keynotes, while day two will feature breakout sessions, workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and networking opportunities.
Google plans to spotlight innovations in Android, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and web development, with a particular emphasis on the ways that the latest AI models can optimize app development and improve workflows.
What to Expect at Google I/O 2025:
AI Advancements: Expect announcements about Gemini and other cutting-edge AI technologies.
Android 16: New updates and features for the Android operating system.
Developer Tools: Insights into tools such as Gemma, Google AI Studio, and NotebookLM, which are designed to help developers enhance their app-building processes.
As the event nears, Google is expected to provide more specific details on the announcements and demonstrations set to take place.
