Oppo Find N5 New Details
OPPO’s Find series head, Zhou Yibao, has revealed new details about the upcoming Find N5, promising it will be the world’s thinnest folding flagship. In a recent video, Yibao confirmed that the Find N5 will come with 50W wireless charging, a feature that OPPO has previously committed to offering in all its Find series devices moving forward.
Yibao emphasized the importance of wireless charging, stating, “We have promised before that in the future, as long as it is called Find, it must be equipped with wireless charging as standard.” He also highlighted the convenience of charging, mentioning that users will be able to charge the Find N5 by simply placing it in their car.
In addition to its charging capabilities, the Find N5 is set to be a durable powerhouse, being the first foldable flagship to support IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance ratings, which are rare in foldable devices.
Addressing questions raised by fans, Yibao clarified that the speaker placement is on the opposite side of the device from where it was shown in a previous image. He also confirmed that the Find N5 will officially launch in China in February 2025.
On the topic of the foldable display, Yibao reassured that the crease on the Find N5 will be significantly reduced compared to the previous Find N3, promising a more refined design.
