Redmi K90 Pro Expected Specifications
The upcoming Redmi K90 Pro is rumored to bring significant upgrades, including a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, offering improved zoom capabilities compared to the 50MP 2.5x telephoto lens seen in the K80 Pro. This information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who suggests that the K90 Pro will belong to the high-end Redmi Pro series.
In addition to the camera improvements, the device is expected to feature a large aperture and possibly an ultra-wide macro lens, a rare feature in smartphones. It is also anticipated to maintain a 2K flat OLED display, with the power to run on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chipset.
Battery-wise, the Redmi K90 series is said to include models with up to 7500mAh capacity. For comparison, the K80 has a 6550mAh battery, while the K80 Pro is equipped with a 6000mAh battery. Rumors also suggest that the company is testing a future device with an 8000mAh battery.
Additionally, reports indicate that Xiaomi is testing 100W fast charging for phones with large 7500mAh batteries, allowing them to charge fully in under an hour. This could be implemented in the upcoming models.
As for the launch, the Redmi K90 series is expected to debut in November, following the company’s usual release timeline.
